Privacy Policy
SBS Georgia is an offline-first Android app for Georgian individual entrepreneurs with small business status. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does with your data and what it does not do.
Summary
SBS Georgia is designed as a local-only application. Your taxpayer profile, income records, imported PDFs, declaration calculations, reminder settings, and backup files are stored on your device unless you explicitly export them yourself.
The app does not operate a user account system, does not require sign-in, and does not upload your personal tax records to a developer-operated backend service.
Data the App Handles on Your Device
The app may store and process the following data locally on your device:
- taxpayer profile information such as display name, registration ID, and small business status settings;
- income entries that you add manually or import from supported PDF documents;
- import metadata such as statement fingerprints and transaction fingerprints for duplicate prevention;
- monthly declaration summaries, workflow statuses, notes, and reminder preferences;
- locally exported CSV files and JSON backup files created by you.
What the App Does Not Collect or Share
SBS Georgia does not collect or share your personal tax records with the developer. In the current version, the app does not use:
- developer-hosted cloud storage;
- user accounts or login services;
- analytics SDKs;
- advertising SDKs;
- crash reporting services that transmit your personal data to the developer.
Network Access
The app may use internet access to request public foreign exchange rates from official or designated public sources, such as the National Bank of Georgia rate feed. These requests are used to resolve exchange rates for tax calculations.
These requests are not intended to transmit your imported PDFs, taxpayer identity documents, or full local tax records to the developer.
Files and Document Access
When you choose to import a supported PDF document, the app accesses that file through the Android system file picker. The document is processed on-device to extract supported text fields. The app does not use OCR in the current version.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications on your device for declaration and payment workflow deadlines. These notifications are generated locally and do not require a developer-operated push notification backend.
Backup and Export
The app provides local export and backup features. If you export CSV or JSON backup files, those files are created at your direction and stored wherever you choose through the Android file system picker or related platform flows.
You are responsible for how you store, transmit, or share exported files outside the app.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because SBS Georgia is local-first, your data generally remains on your device until you edit or delete it, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app may remove app-local data, subject to normal Android platform behavior.
Children
SBS Georgia is intended for adult users who manage small business tax and declaration workflows. It is not designed for children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app adds new data flows, services, or integrations. The updated version will be published at this page with a revised effective date.
